Koichi Osamura is a pre-doctoral researcher within the project “The Politics of Portfolio Design in European Democracies” at the Department of Government since September 2022. He holds a Bachelor degree in International Relations from Centro Universitário de Brasília (Brazil), a Master degree in Laws from Soka University (Japan), and a Master degree in Political Science from Central European University (Austria). Koichi also has long work experience in government relations and advocacy, and higher education administration.

Research interests: Legislative politics, coalitions, legislative behavior, presidential systems.
