Michael Imre is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Government within the project "Why this abundance of constitutional law in Austria?". He previously worked as a research assistant at the University of Mannheim and Heidelberg University. He studied Political Science (BA, MA) and Journalism and Communication Science (Bakk.phil) at the University of Vienna and received his doctorate in political science at the Center for Doctoral Studies in Social and Behavioral Sciences (CDSS) at the Graduate School of Economic and Social Sciences (GESS) at the University of Mannheim. 

His research interests include parties and party competition, intra-party politics, and (coalition) governments.
