Benjamin Riesch has been a research associate at the research associate at the Institute of Political Science in the project ‘Party conference politics’. He studied political science and mathematics (BA) at the University of Heidelberg as well as statistics (Mag.rer.soc.oec) and Political Science (MA) at the University of Vienna. Benjamin Riesch was previously a student assistant at the Institute of Political Science (2023-2024), as a student assistant at the Institute for Statistics and Operations Research (2021-2023) and as a tutor at the Institute for Political Science at the University of Heidelberg (2019-2020) active. His research interests include political parties and party competition, empirical electoral research and the quantitative methods methods of the social sciences.
