Cooperations

Cooperations are a central component of scientific research, as they promote the exchange of knowledge, resources and methods. Collaboration between national and international institutions, research groups, and networks pools expertise, improves access to high-quality data and optimises research support services. This enables us to realise innovative projects and contributes to the establishment of high scientific standards.

One key example is AUSSDA (Austrian Social Science Data Archive), a central data infrastructure for archiving, providing and re-utilising social science data. This can strengthen the transparency and reproducibility of scientific findings. As a certified ‘trustworthy data archive’, it guarantees us long-term, secure access to relevant data sets.

The overall aim of our scientific collaborations is to increase the efficiency and quality of scientific work, establish sustainable research networks and specifically promote the transfer of knowledge within the social science community.
