The event has been launched by ECPR and the University of Essex to honour the legacy of Jean Blondel, who founded the Department of Government at the University of Essex, and was one of the founders of ECPR. Her lecture 'The meanings of 'voting' for ordinary citizens', can be attended in person at the University, or online, entirely free.
