The Department of Government is looking for an university assistant (post poc) as a temporary replacement with good knowledge of political bahavior and of quantitative methods in the Social Sciences. The position is to be fillled from September 14, 2024 and is initially limited to 8 weeks, after which an extension until the end of the employee's absence is desired.

Your future tasks:

You develope and strengthen an independent research profile
You are involved in research projects and scientific studies
International publishing and presentation activities
You hold courses independently within the scope of the provisions of the collective bargaining agreement
You supervise your students
Participation in administration of the department

This is part of your personality:

Completed doctoral/PhD studies in Political Science
Research interest in political behavior
Experience with survey methods and statistical analysis as well as with a software like Stata, R
Excellent or very good command of written and spoken English
Ability to work in a team
