Sofia is a pre-doctoral researcher in the department of Government and a PhD candidate in Social Sciences at the University of Vienna. She holds a Master’s degree in European Studies from the University of Florence(2020) and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Pisa (2018). In parallel, she has also been admitted to the Honour programme of the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa, from which she holds a diploma in Political Science.

Her main research interests lie in the field of comparative politics and include national and European political parties and party systems, party competition and party Change.
