PUMA Project Coordinator

Katharina Götsch is the project coordinator of the BMWFW-funded project Platform for Surveys, Methods and Empirical Analyses (PUMA).

Katharina studied at German Philology and Political Science at the University of Innsbruck and obtained her PhD in Political Science at the University of Vienna in 2010. After several international internships (IOM, Austrian Embassy in Washington, D.C.) she was a Senior Researcher and Project Director in a Viennese research company in the field of empirical social research. She coordinated and led several third-party-funded projects, e.g. the EC-FP7 project “UniteEurope” about urban migrant integration.

Since 2014, Katharina supports the PUMA team as a coordinator between the university partners from Vienna (project lead), Innsbruck, Graz, Linz, and Salzburg and the Statistics Austria.

In addition, Katharina works as a postdoc project member and external lecturer for other institutes at the University of Vienna.
