The Department of Government announces a vacant post doc position in the ongoing project ‘European Value Study (EVS) 2017’.

 

EVS is a large-scale, cross-national, and longitudinal survey research program on basic human values.

Job Description

 
  • Contribution to the research project ‘European Value Study’
  • Project coordination
  • International publishing and presentation activities
 
 
 

Profile of qualification

 
  • Completed PhD in Political Sciences or Sociology
  • Research interest in public opinion research (e.g. attitudes, opinions, values)
  • Excellent knowledge of quantitative methods
  • Experience with survey methods and statistical analysis
  • Excellent or very good English and German skills

The contract runs for 18 months à 30hours/week (starting date: January 1st 2018). The gross monthly remuneration is 2.720 € / 14 times a year (according to the collective bargaining agreement for Academic University staff).
